Branch Manager - Pittsburgh, PA
Summary:
Are you looking for a non-traditional banking opportunity? Beal Bank, one of the most successful privately owned banks in the nation, is growing and seeking a Branch Manager for a new retail branches in the cities listed above.
We are a wholesale bank with a focus on deposits and related services. Our branch product lines are limited to money market accounts, certificates of deposit (including individual retirement accounts) and statement savings accounts. Loan origination experience is not necessary and there are no sales requirements.
At Beal Bank, Branch Managers are fully hands-on team members. In addition to supervising an assistant manager and 3-4 new account representatives, you will be working directly with customers and our core banking platform on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Security and safety of banking center, personnel and customers
- Training of personnel to include Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), as well as procedures and implementation of new products
- Auditing and verification of new accounts and file maintenance performed by staff
- All aspects of personnel, including hiring and disciplinary actions
- Ensure branch appearance, furniture and equipment are in optimal condition
- Assisting in special projects as needed
- Every aspect of customer service, including, but not limited to, serving as a new account representative
- Preparing and submitting various reports, as required or requested
- Reconciliation of various general ledger accounts specific to banking center operations
- Additional duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- 3-5 years prior banking management experience
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Working knowledge of retail operations and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet navigation

Assistant Branch Manager - Pittsburgh, PA

Call Center Retail Banking Specialist, Plano, TX
Summary: Call Center Retail Banking Specialists ensure all aspects of call center banking policies and procedures are followed, provide excellent customer service as well as all regulatory compliance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform a full range of customer service oriented telephone, mail and email support activities
- Open and process documentation for new accounts
- Process deposits, withdrawals and or closeouts
- Perform a variety of operational back office duties
- Assist with opening daily mail in dual custody
- Perform wire transfers and issue checks to customers
- Assist customers in account maintenance (renewals, re-styling, address changes…etc)
- Assist customers and or prospective customers

Sr. Residential Litigation Support Specialist:
Summary:
This position requires a solid understanding of the law regarding residential mortgages and a general understanding and familiarity with loan servicing. The Sr. Residential Litigation Support Specialist will assist the Associate General Counsel in all projects and case management. This position requires someone who is very detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and who possesses a built in sense of urgency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Organize and maintain litigation files
- Docket all deadlines
- Perform legal research
- Prepare and manage outside counsel engagement letter agreements
- Verify correctness of loan documents
- Maintain monthly litigation reports
- Maintain a legal matter intake log
- Gather loan documents and records as needed for discovery and litigation defense
- Interface with the loan servicer and sub-servicer on litigation related issues
- Process litigation invoices
- Perform all other tasks and administrative actions necessary to assist the Associate General Counsel in litigation defense.
- Will also have some supervisory duties with respect to junior assistants as necessary
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in residential mortgages and/or loan servicing in addition to general litigation experience
- Four year degree or equivalent work experience, excellent spoken and written English skills
- An eye for detail and strong organizational and proofreading skills
- Ability and commitment to meet deadlines, handle a heavy volume of cases, and perform all administerial duties necessary to assist in effective litigation management
- Ability to take initiative and resolve matters with limited supervision
- Work well under pressure and work well with others within and without the organization

New Accounts Representative - Pittsburgh, PA
New Accounts Representative - Portland

We are a wholesale bank with a focus on deposits and related services. Our branch product lines are limited to money market accounts, certificates of deposit (including individual retirement accounts) and statement savings accounts. Loan origination experience is not necessary and there are no sales requirements.
The Retail Banking Specialist is part of a small hands-on team and will work directly with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Greeting customers as they enter the bank lobby
- Open and process documentation for new accounts, including IRAs, process deposits and/or withdrawals
- Complete verification of deposits and date of death valuations for estates & executers
- Assist with opening daily mail in dual custody
- Complete Currency Transaction Reports and forward to appropriate area for processing
- Sell cashier's checks, initiate wire transfers and issues temporary checks to customers
- Maintain cash drawer, adhering to bank policies & procedures
- Assist in balancing the vault weekly
- Assist customers in account maintenance (renewals, re-styling, and address changes)
- Assist customers and/or prospective customers with inquiries via the telephone
- Perform account research as requested by customers
- Process daily mail deposits and or file maintenance
- Accept and process stop payment orders
- General filing (sorting, scanning, indexing, filing & preparation of documents for offsite storage)
- Community involvement for CRA service credit
- Additional duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- 1-3 years banking experience and 2-4 years customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills are required
- Working knowledge of retail bank operations and regulatory compliance
